Well, there's no strict definition, I don't suppose. Everyone has their own interpretation of what the word truly means, depednding on their own experiences and relationships with the people around them.
Anyway. Moving on to the actual topic at hand:
I think that love is when you know you can trust someone, and when you know that they will respect you and your boundaries. It's when you don't have to know what your partner is doing every day, when you can learn to live your lives as individuals, while you still know that you have eachother. Love is when you can be honest with a person, even if it might hurt their feelings -- because, in the end, you know that you're doing the right thing for them and for you.
That's all I can think of for now. This is just my interpretation, however, and I'm sure there will be plenty more.

i say love is when u know that u have strong feelings for someone, and that u want to be w/ them. I was in love once, but it ended dramatically. It really depends on who you are, and what u've experienced. i know because of my break up i'll look into it a little more, but to someone else, just looking into a pair of deep [insert color here] eyes will push them into La La Love Land.
