It sounds really stupid, but a guy i went out with and broke up with a few months ago is still getting to me. We broke up about 2 and a half months ago, and since then I've been feeling really weird. I did try and forget about him, dated other people but I still end up thinking about him all the time. We did agree to be friends and it was quite friendly when we did broke up, and friendship worked for a while but its been up and down and most of the time it seems like he cant even be bothered to know me. Over the holidays it was ok because i didnt see him much, but now i see him pretty much every day at school and its getting really bad! I cant seem to forget about him even though i want to! I dont know what to do, i have no idea what he thinks and i dont seem that important. Just not really sure what to do about the whole situation.

Have you tried joining an after-school group, or taking up a hobby? That would keep your mind otherwise engaged, and give you something to focus on that is not your ex.

You can volunteer at loads of different places, as well.

It took me about 4 months to get over my ex. I found keeping myself busy helped a great deal.
