i dunno which forum to put this in, i dont even know if it belongs here. but its nagging at me. im a 16 year old girl. i am 6' tall and i am a medium build.

recently i met a 21 year old guy who is very short and very skinny. ive developed a crush on him..

is this socially exceptable for a much taller, younger female to date or have a sexual relationship with an older much shorter male?

i know this sounds bad.. but i REALLY need help here.

Well, first off, according to this, your relationship might be illegal. There are laws in three Australian (what are they there? states? provinces? territories?) districts which state that the age of consent for heterosexual sex is 17. They're Tasmania, South Australia and Victoria. So, in those places, you might want to wait until you're 17.

Other than that, there's nothing terrible about that sort of age discrepancy in a relationship, to my mind, at least. You should be aware though, that people might make comments, and may have issues with it themselves.

As long as you take the same precautions that you would in other relationships, you should be fine. One question though, why does it matter that he's short and skinny?

Oh, and I don't know that this is the appropriate forum. Maybe a mod could send this to relationships?

i'm dating a shorty, actually. he used to be *really* self-concious about his height. when we first dated, i'd avoid wearing high-heeled shoes so i'd stay shorter than him (the difference between us is about an inch if not less). But time passed, and his attitude changed. He dated women who were taller than him and figured there was no problem with it, so now he's really cool with the idea of dating taller women.

of course, despite that, he's still going out with li'l ol me

what's age of consent in Australia? just make sure its legal for you to two go out. datingi n general is okay, but osmetimes, going a little further can cause some big time legal trouble.
