hello!
as some of you have seen my topics b4, I have a bf with MD. I am very much in love with him and he is with me. It been really great. I just feel bad because I have depression and sometimes i feel sad for no reason when everything is happy. he tries to make me feel better but im very negative. I hate making him feel guilty for my sadness when it isnt his fault. I dont wanna lose him, and i know i hafta see a doctor to get medication, cuz he knows that i have that. I just dont wanna lose him or make him get tired of me, even though he reassures me that it wont happen. So I guess my question is that I should see a doctor and get medication right?

You answered your own question. If you're questioning your mental well-being, go see your doctor. Your doc may perscribe medicine, but there are many different treatments for depression. I don't think anything bad can come out of a visit.

I've been through pretty much the same situation... And I can assure you that seeing a doc and getting the right medication made things a LOT easier... He stopped feeling guilty for not making me happy all the time and I stopped feeling guilty for making him guilty ^_^
