A little less than a year ago this guy who rode my bus asked me out to the homecoming dance. I was so shocked that anyone would EVER ask me out to a dance and I didn't know what to say so I said 'maybe' and took the question as a rhetorical one. We still talked to each other, and we were good acquaintances. He switched schools a while afterward, so I haven't seen him for a LONG time. I'm still interested in him and his number IS in the phonebook. Would it be a good idea to call him, or would I be stalking him if I did? We weren't very close when we still saw each other on a regular basis, I wonder if he would be happy to talk to me.

I think that you should give him a call. Ask how how he has been and ask him if he's interested in together (as friends) sometime. Then proceed w/ the relationship from there.

No, i wouldn't think that you are stalking the guy, all you're doing is calling him, it's not like you are showing up at his house 24/7 or calling him every minute of the day. So i wouldn't worry about tht.

So go ahead and call him, ya never know what might happen, you might regret it if you didn't.

Calling someone and seeing if they are interested in you = perfectly alright

Calling someone 8500 times in one week after they have told you not to call them = stalking
