Hi, I apologise if this isn't the usual type of emergency but to me it really is!!

My vulva is BURNING beyond belief! I don't know what's wrong with it, and I'm dreading going to bed to sleep tonight because I know it's going to be horrendous# and I'll barely sleep.

A month or so ago my vulva/labia suddenly went really itchy, and I thought it was thrush as I recognised the symptoms. So I took the medication, and it all seemed to be working until I ran out of cream and it was still a bit itchy. So I got more cream, and it's not really helped. I've tried moisturiser and everything, and then a couple of days ago went to the doctor.

He said he couldn't see anything but that it might be a skin condition so prescribed Hydrocortisone cream or something. Again, I thought it was working for the first day, but now two days later I am in AGONY. My vulva feels like it's burning or being poked with needles and I just don't know what to do, I want to cry [Frown]

Do these symptoms sound familiar to you?? Anything you've heard of before?? I just need some relief!

Hi Trippy,

This is not something we can really help you with, as we cannot diagnose people via the internet. If what your doctor proscribed is not working, then you need to let them know ASAP so they can take another look.
