Okay, I was wondering, what are the chances of one getting pregnant if the condom came halfway off when the guy pulled out?

My boyfriend and I only recently started having sex, and every time we've had sex, the condom has come halfway off when he's pulled off. He doesn't stay in long after he ejaculates. I'm on birth control, so I know that already cuts my risk in half. However, we did have sex when I was on my period. I just started my new pack on Sunday and we had sex twice today.

I just noticed the condom was always coming halfway off, but I was assured he didn't get anything into my vagina. So, I'm not really freaking out, and I plan on taking a test soon, but I was wondeirng, what are the chances?

And as far as proper condom use goes, I know now that he has to hold it, and he hasn't been doing that. So that'll change.

The beauty of using two birth control methods is that if one is at all compromised, the other one is there.

Regardless of whether you use condoms or not, the pill is 92% effective with typical use and 99% with perfect use.

Also, you're still protected from the pill when you have your withdrawal bleed.

It's sound to be aware of these things as there is always some risk when having sex, but know that you've been very well protected already.

And yes, you're right; holding on to the base of the condom will keep this from happening. Either one of you can reach down and do that as he pulls out.
