I am taking oral birth control and take it the same time everyday and was wondering if adderal would cancel it out? Please help im freaking out that I have made a horribly stupid mistake

I don't see hormonal contraceptives listed as medications which would be an issue while taking Adderal, however, I'd just make sure your docs prescribing those know you're taking both. Both have some cardiovascular risks, so you'll just want to make sure your prescribing physicans don't think that's a safety risk for you.

But it should not interfere with my birth control like an antibiotic? So if oral birthcontrol was my only form it should not be a risk? Thank you for getting back to me!

You know, even most classes of antibiotics are known not to reduce the effectiveness of BCPs. A couple classes *might*, but the data on that is still iffy: some studies have found they do, others that they do not. It's 50/50 at this point.

There's never no risk when using any method of contraception, because no method is 100% effective. But the med you're taking is not listed as one known to interfere with the efficacy of your method, so that med won't be something likely to change your level of effectiveness (99% in perfect use, 92% in typical, both in one year of use).
