Hi! I just turned 18 and normally my periods are regular. I am not sexually active, but this past month I missed my period and now I have a very light period/spotting for this month. I wonder if this is due to stress, since I had work, summer classes, family illness, and best friends who left for college that my period is delayed. I am honestly racking my brain for the worst thing I have done and that's probably like masturbating-but that doesn't lead to pregnancy the last time I checked! ):
Help please?!
I went to the doctor and he said to just wait it out and not stress. I also am experiencing lots of cramping/stomachaches.

If a doctor told you to wait it out, that's the thing to do.

Sometimes, we skip periods due to stress or other things. If you don't get a period for another month or two, check in with your doctor again.
