Hi,

I know this is a silly question to ask, but I'll admit I'm a bit of a worrier, so thought I'd put my mind at rest!!

My boyfriend and I were in the shower, and I gave him a handjob so he that he came... he washed off in the shower (just using water), and then fingered me...

I know it's indirect contact & he had washed off, but is there any chance of transference of semen into my vulva/risk of pregnancy? I'd prefer to know either way so I can put my mind at rest/do something about it before it's too late, as I know how easily I get anxious, and know that that can delay my period, making everything worse!!

Many thanks [Smile]

Welcome,

I do not see any real risk here since there was not direct contact and everything was being washed/rinsed off by the shower as well. [Smile]

Cheers! I was just concerned that any residual left on his fingers may have posed a risk & figured it was better to check [Smile]

It is always better to error on the side of saftey and ask. Sperm cells are very fragile and the require a lot of the fluid in semen in order to be able to swim in a to reach an ovum. They would not survive the washing or the loss of the fluid that was rinsed away by the shower running.
