Im sure I fit in the same category as every other paranoid girl out there but I have to ask this.

I have been on the pill for two months now and my boyfriend and I have just started having sex. Last night we had sex once with a condom and he came. The second time we didnt use a condom and he didnt ejaculate. Im nervous about pre-ejaculation. In a past relationship, I was on the pill and we used a condom every time. This was the first time I haven't used one and even though I'm on the pill, I'm still worried. He told me the condom also had spermicide on it. So that eased me a little.

But should I be concerned? My period will also start tomorrow night or Tuesday morning; its always the same while on the pill. Sorry for rambling, just want to know if I should consider EC?

The pill is highly effective at preventing pregnancy, over 99% with perfect use (none late or missed, taken at about the same time every day). Even with typical use, it's still more effective than EC.

So, given that you're on the pill and your partner did not ejaculate, I don't see a need for EC here, no.

Thank you for your reply. If I has missed a pill, but doubled up the next day, is it still the same effectiveness?

Missing a pill and making it up the next day would be considered typical use, which is about 92% effective.
