so, my boyfriend and i had sex october 14th. everything was fine, until the condom broke, but he didnt ejaculate in it beforehand. im not using birth control or anything, so the condom was our only source of protection. i was due for a period on the 17th, and it came, but im still worried because it's lighter than usual, almost as if it will end soon when today is only the 2nd day, and it normally lasts 7. also, the cramps i had on the first day were excruciating. could i be pregnant?

If you're having a period when you expected a period, then you're almost definitely not pregnant. If this period continues to be off for the whole time, or stops completely, you can take a pregnancy test once it has been 10-14 days since the risk.

thank you so much. that makes me feel better. if my period somewhat goes back to normal, then thats proof enough for me, but if not, ill probably end up taking a test. thanks!
