I just got the diva cup a couple of days ago and have been using it okay, but now it is stuck and i can't get it out! I'm not sure if it is up to far or i just can't get it...i can easily reach the stem, but still can't pull it down, i can reach the base too but can't get a grip on it, i tried squatting like the instructions recommended but still can't get it out...what do i do?

Okay.

First things first, take some deep breaths, chill out for a bit, so you can relax. If you're tense, all your muscles will be tense.

Once you're chill, go back again to squatting, then slide a couple fingers inside your vagina. Then bear down, the way you do when pushing out a bowel movement, as if you were constipated. As you're bearing down, see if you can't grab the middle of the cup and give it a squeeze while you pull it down.

If it's been for more than 12 hours, you really need to get it out.

So, try again, being sure to try and chill out about it as much as possible when you do. I know it's not easy, but if you're all tense, those muscles can't relax.

Worse comes to worse, you ask a friend, partner or whoever to help.
