I desperately need some expert advice.

I had unprotected sex yesterday, at around 2 or 3 in the morning. I had been drinking heavily that night, and the guy I am seeing and I got very carried away. We meant to use condoms, but he had trouble keeping his erection and we went through two or three condoms before he apparently gave up. Unfortunately I wasn't very alert at this point, and only realised it afterwards. He did not ejaculate inside me, but I am still very very worried.

I took Nordette as EC (4 pills) at 12 noon later that day, and 12 hours later 4 more pills. I hope I did the right thing and that this significantly reduces my risks. I can't concentrate on work from worrying about it.

Expert asessment of my situation would be a great help. [Frown]

Does it reduce the risk in any way if he didn't ejaculate inside me and I took EC so soon after? (About 11 hours after we had sex?) Thanks

Yep, Nordette can be used as EC, in the way you took them. And since you took it so soon after, chances are you significantly reduced your risk.

Since no condoms were used, you were also at risk for STIs and will want to schedule a full STI screen.
