I have been on Seasonale for a month now. I just started taking these pills for the first time a month ago. A couple of days ago I bled after sexual intercourse. I didn't think much of it at the time. Just this morning I noticed a brownish discharge with a very bad odor. Also, there was a little blood mixed in with it. To my understanding, I'm to only get a menstrual cycle every 12 weeks. Can someone please help me?!?!

You'll only have a withdrawal bleed around that often, but some unpredictable spotting and bleeding in between in normal when you're skipping periods. In short, you can only hold back the shedding of the endometrium chemically so much.

So...basically, I have nothing to worry about? I have never bled after intercourse and never had a discharge like this ever. For about the last two weeks I have been experiencing itching in that area also. I've had yeast infections in the past but none like this.

If you are having itching with the unusual discharge and odor, then it would be best to get in to see the doctor and have it checked out.
