Would a at home pregnancy test be accurate after a week and a half from the possible conception? I have taken 3 tests within this week and a half and they have all been negative. Would it be accurate to assume that I am not pregnant? Please help!

Until it's been at least ten days, and preferably 14 or more, a test isn't likely to be accurate.

Pregnancy isn't something that happens instantly. It's a process that takes around a week, and then it takes a few more days after that for the hormone tests read for to develop enough to be found. In some women, it can even take a little longer than that.

So, you'll want to wait until either around day 14 or the first sign of a missed period, whichever comes first. And if you're still missing a period a month or so after the fact and still have negative home tests, it's a good idea to check in with your doctor if you did have a pregnancy risk.

I had sex with my boyfriend 3 days before my period came. I am on the pill and I had a normal period. I have taken the tests and they are negative. They would be accurate now? It is just that my breasts are sore on the sides, where they are normally sore before my period, and I feel that I am making them sore from stressing. What do you think?

Had you been taking your pill perfectly through that whole cycle?

Really, I don't see that you've had a risk here if you had, especially given you had a normal withdrawal bleed.

Sometimes breasts get tender or sore, and that's not always prom pregnancy. Heck, even drinking more coffee than usual can do that. [Smile]

Can I make them sore myself. I have been constantly touching them to make sure that they are not getting too sore or any worse than they already are

It's entirely possible that constantly touching them would make them sore. It also sounds like you're hyper-aware of your breasts right now, and that extra focus might make a difference as well.
