Ok, so another month came and went and this time my period is a week late...took 3 hpts and all negative...
I've been doing so much reading online and i cant really figure out what is actually going on with my body..
I saw where i might have ovulated late in my cycle and i am pregnant but a hpt wont detect it yet or its because i just went off bc a few months ago(last months period was late but not by this much.
And i know that being a teen my periods can be all out of whack but wouldnt my having a baby somewhat straighten them out?
If i dont get my period by the end of this week i am going to the local clinic for a blood test...

anyone have any advice cuz honestly im losing my mind not know what is going on in there...

Kyosoe: There are actually a lot of reasons for a woman's period being late. Because you recently were taken off of your birth control, your periods very well could be off for a few months as your body readjusts itself to a normal cycle. I also see from your post here that you had used the withdrawal method three times. Have you since been using a reliable method of birth control (IE in your case being off your normal birth control have you used a condom every time?) if so then it's more likely your periods being a bit off as your body gets used to not being on birth control. If not - when was your last risk?

We arent trying to avoid gettin pregnant but we arent trying for it either...just if it happens it happens..we do want a baby together.
Also i dont really know what my last risk would be since me and my fiance live together we have sex about every other day...
I just didnt know why my period this month would be so much later than last months when theres been a longer time span from going off my bc...

Also i should add this, but the reason i put freaking out on my thing is beacuse i've read that there could be possible VERY BAD things wrong if u dont have a period...

Well, yes, there can be physical problems if you don't mensruate, but that is not something you need to worry about at this point. Missing a period or two, having late or short ones, etc, on ocassion, especially with what's been going on with you, coming off from BC, isn't unusual or something that should cause concern.

It would help us if you cleared a few things up. You said you don't know when you last had a pregnancy risk: can you tell us if you've been using condoms or some other type of birth control method when you've been having sex lately?
