As you know, per our User Agreement, we ask that users not make multiple posts of the same topic on the boards (both in the same section and in different sections).
Recently, many folks have been having difficulty with board glitches that cause multiple posts to appear unintentionally. While we recognize that you may not always be able to avoid this, there are some steps that you can take to minimize the risk of an accidental multiple post.
Click the "Add New Topic" or "Add Reply" button only once.
If the screen blanks after you click to add your post or reply, do not click your reload button or click back and then post again.
Instead, try opening a new browser window or tab and go back to the forum you have just tried to post in. See if it has indeed posted or not before trying to repost. (You can also click your back button, use Ctrl-C or the "Copy" option to copy the text of your post if you are worried about it being lost.)
If you do accidentally make a multiple post, don't worry. One post will be kept open and the rest deleted. But it really helps us out if you can try not to post multiple times because then our volunteers can focus on answering your questions rather than deleting 5 copies of the same thing.
