hey there. a few weeks ago my ex and i had a bit of an encounter, but as i went off birth control of a few months ago and don't enjoy sex in the first place i vetoed any intercourse. however, his penis head did rest lightly against my vagina for oh, say, five seconds? max fifteen seconds before i moved away. he had not come nor was he to my knowledge close to coming--and he's really hard to get to come, oddly enough--but my understanding is that any genital contact could do it.

i plan to take a pregnancy test tomorrow for piece of mind, but in the mean time i'm kinda freaking out. how scared should i be? what's my risk?

thank you so much!

oh, just as a note, my period is, i suppose, late. however, i have always had an irregular period and it seems to have been especially odd since i came off the birth control--i guess my body's still recovering.

I'd always say you should never be scared: it's nonproductive and doesn't do anything but cause more stress. [Smile]

That kind of contact poses a moderate risk at worst, and no risk at best. It's a greater STI risk than a pregnancy risk.

But if your period is late and that was a few weeks ago, you can take a pregnancy test if you want to to ease your mind. It sure beats worrying.
