I was due for my period over a week ago and there's nothing. I've taken two pregnancy tests in the past few days and they are both negative. I have been fairly stressed with school and work and I've gained a good 10lbs since my last period. Do you think those would of thrown me off? I hardly ever have sex, and when I do, 99% of the time I use condom. In the last month I think I've had sex twice. Unfortunately, they were not with a condom. My boyfriend did pull out well before he ejaculated, but I know that doesn't make much of a difference. I haven't noticed any other signs of pregnancy, so I was wondering if I could have some help!

Since you've had two negative pregnancy tests, I'd attribute your late period to the stress you've been experiencing. That can definitely throw your body out of whack.

When was your last pregnancy risk?

I would have to say it was in the beginning of the month...

I am pretty worried about this, so do you think someone else can help?

If your risk was at the start of last month, you can rest assured your tests gave you accurate results.

Both risks were in the beginning of November - does that still count?

My bad: I said what I said understanding you meant Novmember. [Smile]

If your risks were at the start of this month, and you became pregnant, you'd be pregnant by now and testing positive.

Do you think that the tests could be wrong in any way? I read online that a girl took two tests, both negative, but she was still pregnant...

The bottom post here should answer this concern nicely. Cliff note's version; anecdotal evidence on an Internet message board is not accurate.

Well that is much better, thank you so much Lauren. Do you guys think me gaining that weight could throw off my cycle?
