For about 2 weeks or so - maybe a little less - I have woken up feeling a little bit nauseous almost every morning. Sometimes it goes away when I eat something, but most of the time it lingers, getting somewhat better as the day goes on, but not completely gone. Today it's really bad. I also feel like my stomach is "heavy", and that I've gained a little weight.

I've never had sexual intercourse, but I have been involved in manual/oral sex. About 3 weeks ago, I was with my boyfriend and he fingered me. The only time semen was involved was when I gave him oral, and I'm pretty sure I didn't get it on my hands. I'm not sure if he did. He might have washed his hands, but I can't remember. The thing is, I don't think there was much of a risk involved at all. Every time I give him oral, we always make sure there's nothing on either of our hands.

But how come my stomach feels "heavy"? It could be because I haven't eaten very healthy for the past month, so maybe I've gained some weight. I can TELL I've gained some weight. But the main thing that's making me think something is wrong is the fact that my period is late. It's scaring me. I was supposed to get it 2 days or so ago, but it's not here. And I'm not even cramping a little bit.

So why do I feel so nauseous, and why no period? I know I'm probably overreacting, I just appreciate reassurance.

It doesn't sound like you had any sort of a pregnancy risk, so there's no reason to worry. (And for the future - just use condoms fur oral sex. That way, you can be sure that nothing can happen.)

The nausea could be due to lots of different things, but pregnancy doesn't sound like a likely reason. If you're only two days over-due for your period, that is waaaaay too early to be experiencing any sort of pregnancy symptoms. If this nausea is bothering you and you're worried about it, I'd call the GP and make an appointment to check what's up. But it's certainly not a pregnancy.

Periods can be late for all sorts of reason, and sometimes no reason at all. You mention that your diet has changed over the last month - that could definitely cause a late period. Either way, two days late isn't a big deal. So you can relax, mkay? [Smile]
