me and my boyfriend have had sex every weekend. for the past month. and just this past weekend he had sex and after we had sex my vagina has been sore and it hurts ever since. i have like a tinglying, kinda burning, and itching sensation. and it kinda burns when i pee. could that be signs of a yeast infection? can i get it from sex and how can i get rid of it!?

please help!! it kinda hurts!!!

Burning when you urinate is definitely a sign of an infection, but it's not a sign of a yeast infection. It's probably a urinary tract infection (UTI), but it could also be another kind of infection.

You need to see a doctor and describe the symptoms so that they can figure out what kind of infection it is and prescribe treatment. If at all possible, please tell them that you're sexually active.

In the mean time, drinking lots of water and taking cranberry supplements (or cranberry juice without sugar in it) can help a little.
