im on tri-sprintec birth control pills. I was getting a pill out the other day and it broke in half. I heard that when pills break in half it gives a more stronger effect. and i could actually taste the insides of the pill when i swallowed it....will this effect me at all??? is it something i should be worried about or anything or am i alright?

Whoever told you that broken-in-half pills give a stronger effect fed you a bunch of hogwash [Smile] The pill has the exact same ingredients, and is absorbed the exact same whether it's whole, or in two parts, or in five parts. The reason you could taste the pill was probably because the inside isn't coated quite the same as the outside, or because you didn't use as much water, or because your taste was a bit more sensitive for some reason, you never know.

There's really nothing you need to worry about, because the pill was still exactly the same regardless of its physical experience. [Smile]
