Wednesday, I wiped and there was blood. I got a sudden relief going down my body, lol. It was red. I put a tampon in and it filled it up and even leaked through onto a pad. It's not as HEAVY as it is some months, but it's still normal to heavy. I'm still bleeding today. I have regular cramps, a stiff back. The only thing I don't have that I get sometimes is tender breasts. However, after doing research, I noticed that this could be implantation bleeding. I read, although, that that is usually pink or brown and hardly even noticable, usually when you wipe. Do you think that this is just my period?

Implantation bleeding -- to the point that a woman would even notice it -- actually isn't all that common. And it's certainly not at a level which would fill a tampon.

Sounds like your period to me but since you may have had a pregnancy risk 9and you did have an STI risk), I'd just keep an eye out. if the bleeding continues and you have your cramps, no reason to think it's not your period, but you should schule an STI screening soon regardless, so if you're still worried about pregnancy when you get that, they'll also do a test for you.
