nobody has answered me and this is really starting to worry me. i can't find my nuvaring. i put it in, and last night during sex i felt a weird pressure, kind of uncomfortable. now i can't find my ring. my boyfriend said he felt it with his hands the other day. i read that nothing can go past the cervix, my mom thinks it's just stuck in an unreachable position. my fingers are fairly long but maybe not long enough. will someone tell me anything?

Is your boyfriend around? Might you ask him to feel for it with his fingers?

Or, do you have something like a tampon applicator you can use to extend the length of your fingers?

If you can do either of those, and still can't find it, chances are it just fell out somewhere, because otherwise, there really is nowhere for it to go. The cervical opening is exceptionally small, and there's beyond no way a nuvaring -- or really, anything besides sperm or bacteria -- could get in it.
