I began using birth control for the first time, on day 1 of my cycle (the first day of my period). My period usually lasts 5 days. Today is day 12, and it's showing no signs of stopping! I don't bleed heavily still, but it is moderate bleeding. I am continuing to take the Pill every day. What should I do? Please help ASAP!!!

Twelve straight days of bleeding is NOT normal, even when your body is adjusting to the hormones in the pill and subject to some wonkiness.

Continue taking the pills as normal for now, but get into a doctor as soon as you can to get this constant bleeding checked out.
