I'm on birth control, but I missed my whole last months dosage. I wasnt worried about it, but I'm now 9 days late. I looked up the top ten signs of pregnancy and I am having at least half of them. The only people who know are my boyfriend and my best friend. I havent told my mom. I'm not sure what to do. I dont want to worry her and then get find out that I'm not pregnant. I'm scared to take an at home pregnancy test because I've been told they aren't reliable, and I'm not sure what I would do if I am pregnant. Please help!

Here's the funny thing about pregnancy sypmtoms: they aren't reliable at all. What is reliable is a pregnancy test, taken with the first urine of the morning.

Before you begin panicking: do you have aa actual risk for pregnancy? Did you use a condom? Why did you miss a month's dosage?
