almost a head notice, im getting a bit edgy already, I'm expecting my period any day now, pretty much, very soon.
my period has always been pretty steady for the 8 years ive had it
ex: i menstruate 1st week of october then 1st week of november

Usually i get cramps during my period... but I just had cramps a couple of days ago but I didn't menstruate. Am I possibly overreacting? I am sexually active and use protection, but do you think I should hold off the pregnancy perhaps by the end of this or next week if my period still hasn't come?

Thank you!

I would say you're overreacting, yes.

Even those who have regular cycles still can experience irregularity at times. This is normal.

So, if you still don't see any sign of a period within the next week, take a test. It will be worth it for the peace of mind, if nothing else.
