hi, im a bit worried- my boyfriend came on me last nite, it went over my belly and he made sure it was far away but a bit went on my leg and i stood up to wipe it off and i dont think any dripped near me anywhere else but if it did get on me somehow, should i take EC cuz it was teh last day of my period, so it was pretty much finished and is that the time you are most fertile? i dont understand how it is when you are releasing an egg?
o help! i hate this worry. wont be doin that again. we were careful, but the paranoia is just really getting to me.

it really doesn't sound like you have a risk since the semen didn't get onto your vulva or into your vagina. so i'd just relax a bit. if you are still worried, though, wait 10 days and take a home preg. test.
as for when you are most fertile, that'd be right before your period, but that doesn't mean you can't be fertile at other times, which is why it's so darn importnt to get the condom on him as soon as he stiffens up.

Just a small correction: in women with regulated cycles, the majority are most fertile just around mid-cycle or a little before, not right before menstruation. Opps.
But, as Gumdrop said, unless you're charting and regular and have any assurance that's when YOU are most fertile, the only smart thing to assume is that you can ALWAYS have a pregnancy risk in cases (unlike this one) where there is a high risk of pregnancy.
