Help our 17 year old's daughter's boyfriend waved a gun at her when he realized she was talking to another boy on her cell phone. He seems like a nice boy and has never hit or even yelled at her. Our daughter is being very calm about this. we are very worried what would you do? HELP

I would call the police immediately and file a report and get a restrining order, that is what.

His history isn't relevant here (and even if it was, never having hit or yelled doesn't mean he has no issues or is not or may not become abusive) -- waving a gun at anyone, let alone a girlfriend, is an indicator of a very serious problem and a very dangerous situation.

So, please, call your local authorities immediately. That's the only smart thing to do to ensure everyone's safety. You certainly would be better off calling them now to prevent this going further than having to call them if this escalates.
