My girlfriend is going to take her last pill for BC tomorrow night. We will probably have sexual intercourse while she is on birth control pills and i will have a condom on as well. Is it safe? is the pill still in effect if her last one is tomorrow?

Do you mean her last pill ever, or just the last active pill before the placebo week? If it's just the last one before her pill-free week, then it's not a problem - she is equally protected at all times as long as she has taken all the pills in her current pack correctly and continues to take them properly during her next pack. Using a condom in addition to the pill means that the chances of pregnancy are very, very small.

There's more about how the pill works here: http://www.scarleteen.com/forum/ultimatebb.php?/ubb/get_topic/f/21/t/000351.html

The pill is still in effect for the full 28 days that it's in use, including the placebo week or week off.

For statistics about the effectiveness of both contraceptive methods, see this post: The Buddy System: Effectiveness Rates for Backing Up Your Birth Control With a Second Method

Edit: Cross-posted with Karybu!

As with any kind of sex where you could create a pregnancy, there's never no chance of pregnancy, but the combination of correct use of the birth control pill and condoms makes that chance very slim.
