Do you get gassy before your period is due? I get my period at the end of this month or sometimes the 18 and I've been really gassy lately. Also, my lower abdomen has been hurting and my upper legs too. finally, can you get symptoms of period 7 up to a week before it starts?

The numbers you are using here are confusing to me.

What do you mean when you say, "finally, can you get symptoms of period 7 up to a week before it starts?" Seven up to....? And seven what?

But yes, many people experience digestive and bowel disturbances with or before periods. That's very common.

Per things like abdominal and leg pain, those are issues to bring to a healthcare provider to evaluate.

How soon someone starts getting symptoms before their period starts varies pretty widely from person to person, but it can happen even up to a week before, yes. But your best bet would definitely be to talk to a healthcare provider about these questions, as they'll be able to do any checks/tests they feel are necessary, and would be able to find out for sure whether this is symptoms of your period or something else.
