On the 29th of December I had dry sex (we both had underwear on) with my boyfriend. He didn't really ejaculate but for peace of mind I took three pregnancy tests 26,31,and 48 days after the incident. I know it's wrong to read on the internet about this stuff but I freaked myself out. Ive heard a lot of women saying that they didn't test positive on home pregnancy tests. Can I trust the three negative results. I think many of the symptoms I've been getting are psychosomatic and I rarely have periods so I can't wait for my period to show up really. (last one was on the 20th of December due to induce through plan B) My question is, are home pregnancy tests that accurate and can I trust these negative results even though I haven't had a period?

Oh I also forgot to mention that I have lots of brown discharge (looks like it has blood in it sometimes) it's scaring me a little because I don't think I normally have discharge for days like this. Ive heard that that's a symptom of pregnancy as well.

Pregnancy tests are very accurate if they're taken according to the instructions. We have more information about them here: Peeing on a Stick: All About Pregnancy Tests

You said you and your boyfriend were both wearing underwear, so I think it'd likely be really helpful to you for both now and the future to know more about exactly how pregnancy can and can't happen. We've got detailed information here: Can I Get Pregnant, or Get or Pass On an STI From That? and here: Human Reproduction: A Seafarer's Guide

Also, as you rarely have periods, have you checked that with a healthcare provider?

So i can be sure that Im not pregnant? What would be the reason for all the brown discharge that im having..could it be the Plan B still in my system? Or something else?
And yes ive been to the doctor and they found nothing wrong with me. However, they did put me on birth control. I could not afford to buy it after they took me off state insurance when I got to a certain age.

If you haven't done anything that can cause pregnancy, you can't be pregnant.

Sometimes small amounts of old blood can be in the discharge, and that old blood will look brown. We've got more information about discharge here: Honorably Discharged: A Guide to Vaginal Secretions. Plan B can also cause temporary changes to the cycle. Are you up-to-date with STI testing?

Ive never had an STI test. Im a virgin and my boyfriend is the only guy ive ever been near. My sex education is minimal so i dont know a whole lot about what i can and cant get pregnant from. My boyfriend has been tested for STIS though and he's clear.

If your partner has been tested and he's the only person you've ever been any kind of sexually active with, then your risk of STIs is very low. It's still a good idea to get checked out on a regular basis though, because some STIs can be transmitted in ways that aren't sexual (and for people with penises, there are certain STIs that can't be tested for).

Per what kinds of activities can and cannot cause pregnancy, did you have a read through the articles on reproduction that Redskies linked you to earlier?

Well, if no one provided you education, that is not on you.

As Redskies already made clear, you cannot even have a pregnancy risk without having been part of the things that can cause pregnancy.
