I know this has been discussed various times but a few days ago my boyfriend and I were dry humping. I was in my underwear and considerably wet while his penis was bare. I suspect he might have pre-ejaculated and what makes me even more scared is that I happened to be ovulating. I've heard people say that one can get pregnant if the bodily fluids come in contact. Could the pre-ejaculate have seeped through my "wet" underwear and then make me pregnant? Thank you!

Welcome to Scarleteen, sprinklin. This article should answer your questions: Can I Get Pregnant, or Get or Pass On an STI From That?

Also, unless you have been charting your basal temperature and cervical mucus daily for a while, it is unlikely that you are able to accurately predict your ovoulation.

Yes it did help a little bit but for dry sex, the article says there is low pregnancy risk involved. Doesn't an underwear count as a thin barrier through which the fluids can mix together?
Also, do you think I need to take a pill? It hasn't been 72 hours yet technically

ladrish, can you please go ahead and start a thread of your own, so we can help you there?

sprinklin, unless there was direct (as in, skin to skin) contact, you do not have to worry about a pregnancy risk.

Thank you so much. And even if hypothetically some pre-ejaculate seeps to the side and makes contact with the skin, would it still pose as a risk?

With the skin that is not your genitals? Nope.

For pregnancy to occur, semen must have direct contact with your genitals, not just any body part.
