His condom was folding up on the tip during sex. Could you tell me why it does that? And could that cause the condom to leak from the rim if ejaculate inside the condom?

What do you mean by folding up on the tip?

When condoms are put on properly, you leave room -- around an inch -- of the tip to gather ejaculate. So, for sure, the tip of that condom is going to move around, and that's not an issue or cause for concern, if that's what you mean.

Yes I always help him leave room in the tip of the condom, but during sex he was complaining that the tip was bunching together or pushing back to the base. It seems like the reservoir tip disappeared during sex. But he came inside the condom, do you think it leaked out because the reservoir tip wasn't there anymore?

Well, it can't push back to the base unless you were using a condom twice as ling as his penis, or the rim slid down the shaft of the penis so much that most of the condom was off: otherwise, given how condoms are designed and penises are, that would literally defy the laws of physics. That's not possible: condoms do some amazing things, but they, like anything else, can't defy the laws of physics.

Same goes with the tip of the condom "disappearing" during sex: there's nowhere for it to go, so because someone didn't see (do y'all have x-ray eyes? [Smile] ) or feel it at some point during sex doesn't mean it went away, as it can't do that.

It sounds to me like what happened here was that your partner experienced that this condom, or maybe this particular style or brand, didn't feel good to him in some way, and felt bunchy (and sometimes a too-roomy condom can feel that way). In other words, nothing you are saying here sounds like a condom not doing it's job or like any cause for concern about failure, but instead, like a feel or comfort issue, which can likely easily be fixed by your boyfriend just using a style or brand of condom he knows feels good.

It might also be this felt this way because there wasn't enough extra lubricant used with the condom: in case you don't know, just a drop or two put inside before putting it on, then a more generous amount rubbed on the outside not only helps keep condoms from breaking, it often makes a huge difference in how good they feel for both partners.

Lol. Thank you very much. He said it got really tight around the tip of the condom, that's while I was thinking it slide back up to the base. I didn't see the reservoir tip when he ejaculated either. So you don't think semen could be pushed back the base and leaked out this way? He pulled out of vagina about a minutes after ejaculation.

We also used a lubricated condom.

Did the condom do it's job or I should be worried from it leaking from the rim due to this situation?

Ok so it is not a condom failure or it's not going to leak. Thank you.
