Hi, I did deep throat on a dildo today to practice and it kind of hurt but I kept on going, I managed to do it but it hurt a fair bit. Anyway I left it and have tried a couple of times since. I've got a pretty sore throat now and weird feeling around my neck and ears I can also feel a flap at the back of my throat and I'm not sure if it's meant to be there. I'm basically wandering if it's likely if I have damaged my throat? By the way there is no blood. Thanks!

It's unlikely that you've damaged anything, but in general, any time you're doing something that hurts, that's a signal from your body that it's a good idea to stop. So I'd take a break from putting anything large in your mouth/throat until this pain clears up.

Also, dildos don't tend to be sized the same way that penises are, so you're probably giving yourself a lot more to work with than you would with a partner.
