Hi, basically i'm just asking this out of curiosity. On your website I have read that sperm dies roughly within 20 mins outside the body. Basically 24hours ago I had a wet dream and my boxers still feel slightly damp (not much at all), is it possible that there are still live sperm there? Just so that you know - im not worried about anything because even if some was alive direct contact is needed for pregnancy, im just asking out of curiosity. Thanks! :-)

Dampness doesn't really indicate that the sperm cells are active. Remember that the acidity due to contact with the air, surrounding materials, and temperature will both have changed for the ejaculate, and both will have been the wrong conditions for sperm to stay active. Furthermore just like any biological cells, sperm cells need energy... I don't know when that runs out, but I imagine it's very quickly.
We're not talking about organisms here, rather we're talking about human cell which is evolved to operate inside the body, without those conditions... it's toast.
