As you guys know, I've been on the birth control Sprintec for about a year and 2 months. I get my prescriptions filled for 3 months worth of pills. The last three months, I've been taking Mono-Linyah bc when I went to get them filled in March, Sprintec was on back order.

I just got my 3 months worth of pills filled, and I'm back on Sprintec. Today, I'm taking my second pill from the pack.

As you guys also know, I worried a lot about having diarrhea spells and it effecting my pills. Well, with the Mono-Linyah, I had a an extra pack of them. And when I had the rare diarrhea spells, I'd take one of the pills from my extra pack as well just as a precaution. I know it's not really necessary, but it eases my mind.

Since I'm back on Sprintec, would it be a problem if I continued to do this? My pharmacist, and you guys, let me know that there's not really a difference between the two, as they're both a generic of the same BC pill. I just want to be sure though... Thanks so much for the help.

HI soscaredx and welcome back,

How about you give your pharmacist a call and ask them this question? [Smile]
