so i'm pretty experienced in the yeast infection department as i'm pretty sensitive to them. i currently have a VERY severe one, and i took a dosage of fluconazole last night. i think this may be the most severe case i've had, and i do think it seems like i may be clearing up just a little, but my question is how long is typical for a total recovery after taking fluconazole? is it possible for the fluconazole not to work? It's always been reliable for me in the past.
Thanks!

Often, the more severe an infection, the longer it can take to see improvement, and especially with yeast infections it can take several days after a dose of medication for the infection to clear up completely. I'd say if you don't see any more improvement within three or four days, check in with your doctor - it is possible for medication not to be effective, but given that you only took it last night, it's likely that it just needs a bit more time to work.
