Hello,

I had unprotected sex July 15 (he didn't ejaculate in me),
I took EC 30 minutes afterwards and the second batch 12 hours later.

Will it be effective for me to take a preg test as of August 7?
Will it be effective now or will the EC have messed up my system?

Thanks for all the help!

A pregnancy test is effective at 14 days after the risk. The EC will not affect the outcome of the test.

A pregnancy test is still accurate regardless of whether you took EC or not. IN fact, it's a good idea to test after having used EC.

Pregnancy tests are considered accurate 14 or more days after a sexual encounter so if you take it now you can expect the result to be accurate.

Okay, will it be okay for me to take it even in the afternoon?

Pregnancy tests tend to come with pretty detailed instructions. As long as you follow the instructions your test comes with, you can trust the result.

I took 2 tests.
I don't think it was one of those ULTRA sensitive tests, but both were negative...

Thank you!

All tests are as accurate as each other; brand names, advertising and pricing doesn't matter.
