Sorry if this seems stupid... One of my male friends masturbated with my lube and ejaculated on the bottle then closed the lid. If I went back to the bottle to masturbate with the same bottle of lube an hour or so later, is there any chance whatsoever that I could become pregnant? Even if I fully stuck my fingers into my vagina?

Everything I've googled about this has gotten me more confused. Thanks a ton for easing my mind.

Really, it's that simple. Just nope. [Smile]

Sorry...just one more needing of reassurance... Would it still be possible to not get pregnant this way even if it were not a sperm killing lubricant?

Also from what I've gathered on your site, sperm only live about 20 minutes outside the body. Then how is it possible for men to give a sperm sample, take it to a doctor's office and have it still be viable to be preserved for a future date.

Thanks a BUNCH!!!

Hi... I'm sorry to bother again, just really wondering about these questions. Thank you so much.

HI April,

Usually when men give a sperm sample, they do it *at* the doctor's office where it can immediately go through whatever processes (and I don't know what those are) to preserve it.

Whether or not it was a sperm-killing lubricant doesn't change the answer here. It's just not possible for sperm to live on the outside of a lube bottle.

What about inside a lube bottle?

NO, not there either.

Sperm need a very specific environment in which to survive, and in which to travel.

Honestly, having your friend ejaculate on your lube bottle could poses risk of germs or bacteria, not pregnancy.

I'm wondering if you would find it helpful to look at a couple of articles about how pregnancy *does* and *does not* happen to make this clearer?
