me and the gf use coconut oil as a natural inexpensive lube when we aren't doing anything with condoms. It is honestly very helpful and I strongly recommend it for anything hand or toy related (no penetrative sex with condoms though!) ANyway, I was wondering if there was any risk of sperm becoming preserved in the oil? We use it for lubricating both of us, and while semen has never fallen into the little jar, I wouldn't be surprised if residual sperm on my hand got in there. I just wondered if there was any possibility my late night pregnancy anxiety attack had any validity, thanks!

This is another aside, I cannot express enough how wonderful coconut oil is, it feels sooooo much better and is so much cheaper.

Sperm need very specific conditions - those of semen - to survive. Coconut oil is definitely not an ideal environment for them, so even if there were a few in oil that then came in contact with your girlfriend's vulva, they wouldn't be able to create a pregnancy.
