So I was told in a topic before this that sperm can't go through clothing, even when it's only one layer but that made me think "if sperm can't go through clothing, then if you were to have intercourse with underwear on (not doing this and don't plan too. Just curious), why would it be any different from grinding and turn out to be a risk?????" don't need a quick answer to this. Just want to know [Smile]

Vaginal intercourse is when the penis goes into the vagina, so it would be pretty hard to do that with underwear on.

Perhaps you're thinking of something different? If so, let us know and we'll try to clear it up. [Smile]

Well I guess I've just heard from other's online that the've done it (penetration with underwear on. A really uncomfortable thing to do in my opinion)cause they think it's no risk but then I hear you guys tell them that they have exposed themselves to a risk so I was wondering why that's any different than a clothed grind.

I'm not sure what you're talking about when you say "I hear you guys tell them that they have exposed themselves to a risk."

If somebody is wearing underwear they physically can't have penetrative sex unless they are moving the underwear to the side or something... at which point, for the purposes of this conversation, they aren't wearing underwear any longer. If somebody is wearing clothing (as long as it doesn't have big holes, like wide-patterned lace or fishnets) then pregnancy just doesn't happen. Sperm are pretty fragile and won't move thought clothing.

Can you point to where you're reading on our site that we're telling people they could get pregnant with underwear on?

No, I meant like......I've read some posts from a few people that claim they tried having penetration with just their underwear on or even just one layer of one. I know, it sounds utterly hard and uncomfortable to me, but I've read them asking if they had a risk and Scarleteen would say they posed a risk.

Happy to talk with you about this, but it'd be helpful if you could toss us a few of those links where you saw this stuff said by our staff, okay?
