Does sperm die once it is dry? I got some of my boyfriend's on my hand, and was so paranoid about touching myself or anywhere near myself even when it was dry hours later.

Yes. Once the ejaculate is dry, you don't need to worry about it.

There is no pregnancy risk from this. Sperm cells, whether they're dead or not, cannot create a pregnancy unless a bare penis is in direct contact with a bare vulva, or a bare vulva is being ejaculated onto.
As soon as semen is on a hand, or anything that isn't a vulva or a penis - it begins to dry up, the sperm cells' tails break; they become useless at creating a pregnancy. Once semen is exposed to air - let alone begins to dry - the sperm cells cannot go anywhere, so they cannot co-create a pregnancy. Sperm cells need semen at the perfect temperature and consistency to move around. Once they can't move, they can't go anywhere. Does that make sense?
So, I really wouldn't worry about touching a penis then touching you vulva; it does not pose any risk of pregnancy.
