My girlfriend and I have been having sex for about 9 months now, and she has been on the pill for about 2 years (she had extremely irregular and painful periods). We've only ever been with each other.
Last week we were having sex for the first time without a condom last week. We also used a Today Sponge as a backup method to her pill.
When she was on top of me and we went to switch positions, we noticed there were small bubbles (liquid bubbles) on the tip of my penis. They looked a little like soap bubbles, but much smaller. The bubbles came off with a dab of a towel, and didn't make a mess.
I'm just curious as to what that could have been. Is it possible that with all of the friction and such that our bodily fluids made bubbles? Or could it have been the spermicide (Nonoxynol-9) causing the bubbles?
