In terms of general health and hygiene, handwashing after toileting is important for everyone.

But no, if you hadn't, it's not going to result in pregnancy for anyone. However, bacteria or viruses can certainly be spread by people not washing their hands: in fact, anyone who works in infectious diseases will tell you that is the biggest culprit in infectious disease on the whole.

Again, people cannot become pregnant from door handles. Period. That is simply not possible.

However, when people do not wash their hands after touching body fluids like mucus from the nose or mouth, or genital fluids, infectious disease can be spread. However, the way STIs, specifically, are spread, is not via things like door handles or toilet seats.

(But howsabout you just wash your hands instead of continuing to worry about thinsg like this? Seriously, it's the most basic of health practices. etiquette and simple hygiene.)

actually i am suferring from obsessive compulsive disorder (it is a disorder in mind in which a person excessively washes hands although his hands are clean.it is actually aan anxiety disorder .you can search on wikipedia)actually i also think that is basic etiquette to wash our hand after going to toilet but sometimes such a situation arises that i have to go for toilet on roadside there i cant wash my hands i hope you understand.

so if i touch my hands with penis while urinating then after that without washing m hands with water i touch a door handle and 1min later a woman touches the same handle wouls she get pregnant?will she get any infectious disease or sexually transmitted disease?

I was going to just ask if you had OCD.

When we can't get to a sink, we can always use some hand sanitizer.

But once more -- really, I have answered this same question three times for you now, so we need to be done with it -- what you are asking about CANNOT create a pregnancy, and while it may spread bacteria that can cause infections, it is also not how most STIs are transmitted.

you have said in above post that"while it may spread bacteria that can cause infections, it is also not how most STIs are transmitted"

that means is there any chance that some STIs can transmit the way i have asked about ?

Yes, there is.

Primarily, those would be hepatitis, herpes, syphilis (for the last two, that's only when there are sores that have been touched), and giardiasis.

But bear in mind that no one can transmit an STI they don't actually have. So if you don't have any of those infections, no matter what you do, you can't transmit them to someone else.

Hey: I need you to know that while I understand you have OCD, we also still need our limits and boundaries respected. Your OCD doesn't mean we don't get to have limits.

So, when we say we're done answering the same question, you need to accept that, not push us to do it again. The answer to that question is on this page several times. If you need to reread it, go ahead and do that, but as I said earlier, we need to be done dedicating our time to it when we have already answered you. Thanks.

I really need you to respect our limits when we state them, not push them further when I restate them. Our limits are a sincere request, too. We get to have them, and our users need to respect them.

You answer is posted already several times in this thread.
