Yesterday and today, I have had diarrhea, however it was always several hours after taking my pill. I take it at 9PM and it has been the next afternoon that I have problems. Am I still protected? I called the pharmacist and they say yes. What's your take? Thank you!

I'd also say you are protected. If you take the pill at night, it has completely passed through your system and done its thing by the next afternoon.
It's really only a cause for concern if you have diarrhea within a few hours of taking the pill.
