I'm thirteen, and really want to purchase a vibrator and spencers. Do I have to be a certain age? What if the clerk refuses to sell it to me because of my age? Plus, I'm just overall embaressed about buying it, any tips or suggeations?

You do: you need to be 18 in the US to allow someone to legally sell you a sex toy.

However, in pharmacies and stores like Target, you will see devices labeled as "personal massagers." Those are often some of the best, most durable vibrators there are, and then you also can just figure you're buying it for your aching back, if that makes you feel less embarrassed about it. [Smile] And there is no age limit on those, even though some of them are the same devices.

Yep, you'll be able to buy that and there's no age limit there.

J305: There's nothing wrong with buying sex toys, but certain places have age limits (like the States) so that's just something to be aware of.

Someone who's a supportive and understanding partner would be aware that plenty of people use sex toys and that there's nothing wrong with that. If someone did get upset with you for that, then it's a pretty good indication that they're not a good partner for you.
