Ok, so I have some questions about masturbating. I am a 17 year old girl and I recently started masturbating (I'm a virgin). Ever since I figured out how to do properly it I have done it quite often, often once a day.

My problem is that after I cum, I become to sensitive to continue masturbating for a period of time. It dosent matter if I'm doing vaginal masturbation or just playing with my clit. I'm just to sensitive to continue.

Why is this happening, and can I stop it? When I start actually having sex with a boy, could this effect how long it will last? I've heard of couples who have multiple orgasms when having sex. Am I doomed to be a one and done girl?

Hi there Moneasha! Welcome to Scarleteen. [Smile]

Sensitivity after orgasming is pretty common, and it's by no means something to worry about. It's difficult to know how long this is going to be part of how you function sexually - really anything can range from very temporary to close to permanent - but that doesn't mean you're "doomed." It might be more helpful to focus on the present, and whether or not you're enjoying what you're doing already, you know?

We have an awesome article here I think would be useful for you to read:
Sexual Response & Orgasm: A Users Guide

In a strange room, before you are emptied for sleep, what are you. And when you are filled with sleep you never were. I dont know what I am. I dont know if I am or not... how often have I lain beneath rain on a strange roof, thinking of home.
