Okay, I'm currently on the pill, and have been taking it without missing any for about 5 months. However, I managed to have a dim moment early one the morning, and took my pill for that day about 12 hours earlier than I should've done.

A few days before that (calculated to be about 83 hours before), I had sex using a condom that didn't break, but then after we had sex for less than a minute without one, but he didn't ejaculate inside me. However, I've read sperm only live for a maximum of 72 hours, but is there a chance there were any left alive inside me.

About a week after the pill screw-up (I kept taking pills normally after that), I had my period (not when it was supposed to be), but it was pretty light, and THEN I had my normal period (making for a fun Christmas...). Firstly, was the overdose I had a pregnancy risk? I doubt I'm pregnant now, but I pregnancy-panic a LOT, and would just like to know. Sorry if I'm wasting time here.

And since I had to mention it, this site is AMAZING.

I don't see a significant risk here - you're on the pill (and taking one pill off schedule isn't going to impact the effectiveness that much) plus your partner didn't ejaculate inside you. There's never going to be NO risk, but yours here sounds very low. However, if you're the kind of person who tends to worry about pregnancy risks, there is never any harm in taking a pregnancy test just for the peace of mind.

I'd also say that if you are this concerned about possible risks, maybe now isn't the best time for you to be engaging in the kinds of sex that can create those risks, you know? Excessive worry or fear is often a good indication that a certain activity isn't right for us at this particular point in our lives, and there's nothing wrong with that.

Okay, that's good to know, thank you for your help [Smile]

And as for the worrying thing, I think it's more to do with a general paranoia rather than just to do with sex, |I worry about EVERYTHING. Still, because of this condoms are now most definitely mandatory. Also considering trying to work out a rhythm method...
